Looking at this photo, I wish I had one of Chris with Anya after she was born and swaddled just like Rebecca's little boy :)
And a 'behind the scenes' shot, Anya nursing in a sling while I'm taking photos.

Can I please ask, did you use a flash for these & was it external? Or do you just use a low ap lens? I have always wanted to learn how to take better indoor photos, & these are just *beautiful*.
this was external SB-600 flash for Nikon, with diffuser, the ceiling was perfect for bouncing the light off! My camera was on manual setting the whole time, I think the SS was 1/80, f/2.8 (f/1.8 in the last few photos taken ater birth), ISO no higher than 400 :)
I love the one of him all bundled balancing in her hand. It was amazing to watch him just balance like that. Great photos again Olya!!
I think it's Chris' amazing swaddling technique that does that :) I remember when she swaddled Anya at just a few hours old and how sturdy my newborn all of the sudden felt, no flopping around, just a perfect little bundle :)
